At Mill Creek Vision, caring for your vision goes hand-in-hand with caring for the planet. Our commitment to sustainability is ongoing, but Earth Day is a special opportunity to highlight two initiatives that help us—and you—make a real difference.

Recycle Your Glasses with the Lions Club

Have an old pair of prescription glasses collecting dust? Through our partnership with the Lions Eyeglass Recycling Program, you can donate your gently used eyewear to someone in need. Every pair is cleaned, sorted by prescription strength, and distributed around the world to improve the lives of those with limited access to eye care.

Even damaged frames or lenses are put to good use—recycled for parts that support community-based service projects. From reading glasses to polarized sunglasses, your donation could restore someone’s sight and empower them with new possibilities.

Plastic Neutral Contact Lenses

We're proud to offer CooperVision’s net plastic neutral contact lenses. This program offsets the plastic used in every box of:

  • clariti® 1 day
  • MyDay®
  • MiSight® 1 day
  • Biofinity®

For each box sold, an equivalent amount of plastic is collected and recycled, preventing ocean-bound waste. What’s more, the program supports families in coastal communities by providing essentials like food, education, and healthcare in exchange for collected plastic.

Sustainable Vision Care Matters

At Mill Creek Vision, we believe that protecting your vision should never come at the planet’s expense. Through eyeglass recycling and plastic-neutral lenses, we’re offering eco-conscious choices that align with your values.

This Earth Day, and every day, we invite you to join us in making small, sustainable changes that have a big impact - for your eyes, your community, and the earth.

Let’s keep seeing - and living - green, together.
